St. Stephen's Head of School

Welcome to the St. Stephen’s Episcopal School website. I appreciate your interest in learning more about our school community and the truly unique educational experience we offer our students.

St. Stephen’s is an engaging coeducational school serving boarding and day students in grades 6 to 12. We provide a challenging college preparatory curriculum within a balanced program of academics, athletics and arts ― with the goal of developing students with sharp minds, loving hearts and strong spirits. Our faculty and staff strive to know and appreciate each of our students individually; we celebrate their unique talents and interests and support them on their journeys to become the best version of themselves.

 

The 2023-24 academic year marks the 74th year in our school’s history, but the mission, vision and core values of our school are as relevant today as they were when the school was founded in 1950 by the Rt. Rev. John E. Hines and the Rev. William Brewster.
