________________
As an independent school, St. Stephen’s depends on a strong culture of giving. We nurture long-term relationships with donors who are dedicated to fulfilling St. Stephen's mission. Fortunately for us, that commitment is shared by our entire school community.

Gifts to St. Stephen’s support the things that make our school special — talented teachers, student, faculty and staff diversity, small class sizes, enhanced programs in science and the arts, exceptional athletics, a thriving international program, and a campus surrounded by trees, hills and the open sky. Gifts help make the school affordable to a wider range of students, offering students the many benefits of social, cultural, religious and economic diversity. Contributions to St. Stephen’s reflect the strength of our community and our shared commitment to our students.

Tradition of Philanthropy

When the Rt. Rev. John E. Hines founded St. Stephen’s in 1950, he envisioned a school with the highest academic standards that would welcome people from across the socioeconomic spectrum and around the world. Bishop Hines’ vision for an exceptional independent school became a reality thanks to the generosity of the St. Stephen’s community.

This deep-rooted shared culture of giving has enabled the school to become the outstanding institution that it is today. Thank you for continuing that tradition.
