E.P.I.C. Teammates of the Week: Molly McGrew and Dasher Halloran

Each week Middle School Athletics recognizes Spartans who represent the four pillars of the Middle School Athletic Creed: Excellence, Pride, Integrity, and Commitment - E.P.I.C. Teammates. Congratulations to this week's honorees, Molly McGrew ’30 and Dasher Halloran ’28!

As a striker and midfielder on the Spartan Soccer team, Molly McGrew has been tallying goals and assists for her team that’s been showing improvement with each game. Even when the final score is not in the team’s favor,, McGrew stays upbeat and brings her competitive nature to the pitch. Coach Jordan Sexton said, "Molly shows herself to be a phenomenal team player through her ability to be extremely coachable, being adaptable, and maintaining a positive attitude."

Dasher Halloran has been a member of the Soccer Academy and the Red Soccer Team for three years. He has been a solid force wherever he plays, whether it's on defense, offense, or in the midfield. Halloran’s speed on and off the ball is a reflection of his namesake, and his ball handling skills are off the charts. Halloran takes on a quiet, unassuming leadership role every time he puts on his cleats, yet earns the respect of his peers, coaches and opponents with his stellar play.  Coach Sexton said,  "Dasher has proven constantly and consistently to have the ability to exhibit a stellar work ethic, competitiveness, and the utmost leadership."
