EPIC Teammates of the Week: Nishka Nayampally and Jack Conkling

Sixth graders Nishka Nayampally and Jack Conkling are this week's Middle School EPIC Teammates of the Week!

 

Conkling plays multiple positions on the Purple Baseball Team, including first base. In the team’s recent game against St. Andrew's, he hit a fantastic two-RBI double that helped propel the team to victory! Even with a strong showing at the plate, Conkling stays humble and continues to work hard at being the best baseball player he can be. 

 

“Jack always shows hustle, has fun and never complains about anything,” said Coach Steven Elder. “He has a great attitude and is always positive!”

 

Nayampally is a member of the Spartan Middle School Tennis Team. She is a hard worker who overcame an ankle injury that kept her off the courts at the beginning of the season. However, that did not stop her from staying positive and involved! 

 

“Nishka went above and beyond last weekend at the tennis match play,” said Coach Alix Kautz. “She came early to cheer for her teammates and jumped in every time we needed a player to sub in. She always has a smile on her face and does her best in every single draw and her matches. Nishka is a player who gives 100 percent on the court at practice.”
