Spartans Earn All-SPC Honors

During the weekend of November 7–9, St. Stephen’s Spartans traveled to compete in the Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC) fall championships in Houston. Our cross country, field hockey and girls’ volleyball teams capped their seasons with solid efforts and great individual performances. Boys’ cross country earned third place overall, and girls’ cross country took ninth overall at Spring Creek Park on Nov. 9. Varsity field hockey went 2-1 in weekend matches, finishing fifth in the conference. Varsity girls’ volleyball also went 1-2 on the weekend, finishing ninth in the conference.

A handful of Spartans dominated at the championships, and coaches from all schools took note, selecting them for All-SPC Honors. Award winners were determined by a coaches’ vote for field hockey and volleyball, as well as overall place for cross country.
