Field Hockey Team Travels to Bay Area for Pre-Season Tune-Up

The St. Stephen's varsity field hockey team traveled to the San Francisco Bay area from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1 for a final pre-season tune-up prior to the regular season. The squad of 20 Upper School girls played three games against St. Ignatius (Pacifica), St. Francis (Mountain View) and Archbishop Mitty (Mountain View). They also watched two NCAA Division I competitions at The University of California-Berkeley and Stanford University. In addition, they took time for a team-building hike along the coast in Pacifica. Varsity captains this year are 12th graders Kate Goodman and Aubrey Johnson and 11th grader Casey Bray.
