Hai (Zheng) Olefsky

I was born in Shanghai, China, and came to the United States in 1985 to study at The University of Texas at Austin. I have taught at St. Stephen’s since 1999.

 

I assist in the recruitment of students from East and Southeast Asia. I am also associate director of the International Program, coordinator of Chinese Studies and a cello teacher in the fine arts department. 

 

We have a caring and inclusive multicultural school community.

 

The Lunar New Year festival and the International Festival are both wonderful celebrations of the diversity and multiculturalism on our campus.

 

I enjoy performing as a concert cellist and traveling all around the world.
