  • The Brewster Scholarship

Recipients of the Brewster Scholarship are, above all, curious, engaged, and caring citizens who value the community above the individual and who garner the deep respect of both adults and their peers. Brewster Scholars take challenges for all the right reasons: In the classroom, they take intellectual risks out of a genuine passion for learning, and out of the classroom, they engage in the community out of a sincere desire to connect with others.
The scholarship covers the boarding supplement for each year the student is at St. Stephen’s.
  • MLK Scholars

The Dr. MLK Jr. Financial Aid Award is a need-based award for one incoming boarding student each year. Recipients of The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Financial Aid Award embody the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.”
The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Financial Aid Award is renewed annually for a student’s full time at St. Stephen’s, provided that they continue to demonstrate financial need.
  • ISAS/SAES Scholars

The applicant should be committed to a high set of values including integrity, character, inclusiveness, tolerance and service. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS) or Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools (SAES) accredited institution that does not offer a high school option.
The scholarship is valued at $10,000 and is renewable annually for a total award of $40,000.
