Senior Associate Director of Admission for Boarding Recruitment
Hometown
I grew up in Dallas, Texas but I've lived in Austin since 1970 when I came to The University of Texas.  Hook em' Horns!

Office Responsibilities
I work with all applicants and their parents. I also travel around Texas, Louisiana, Colorado, New England and elsewhere to tell families about our residential program.

St. Stephen's Is Great Because...
Of our multicultural student body and how our kids really listen to each other to understand different points of view.  This is also a place where students can feel more than just accepted, they feel appreciated for their unique qualities and interests. This is a come one, come all kind of place where students feel comfortable trying new things.

Favorite St. Stephen's Tradition
I love the annual Fine Arts Festival where our students spend three days performing, exhibiting their work, making music and sharing their talents with students from other independent schools around the southwest. St. Stephen's hosted the festival in 2019. It was fabulous!

Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy reading, hiking, working in the garden, biking and doing crossword puzzles.  I'm interested in history and geography and I'm learning French.

If You Visited My Office, You'd See...
I have two paintings by Haitian artists purchased to support St. Etienne, the school St. Stephen's founded in Haiti.  I also have orchids as I love having something colorful and growing in my work space. And, of course, photographs of my husband, our two children and my grandsons.
