Wellness Topics and Tips

As a part of promoting wellness, we want to emphasize supporting Mind Body and Spirit. Below is a list of wellness topics and tips that support health and wellness.

  • Maintain a schedule and routine
  • Check in with yourself: How am I feeling? What do I need?
  • Check in with family: How is everyone doing?
  • Stay connected; Social distancing does not have to mean social isolation
  • Practice focused deep breathing.
  • Shift focus to what can reasonably be accomplished in the day; prioritize what gives you purpose.
  • Notice and question negative thought patterns; Replace negative statements with positive and empowering ones.
  • Eat well, rest and stay hydrated.
  • Try an at-home yoga practice. (Yoga with Adriene)
  • Relieve stress: exercises while sitting and working.
