Paul DeFelice

A product of the Dallas competitive youth soccer environment, Paul played for top clubs Comets, Andromeda, and Texans as well as a #1 nationally ranked Coppell High School varsity squad.  During his senior year, he captained the Comets team that reached the finals of the Dallas Cup in the U18 bracket.

After high school, Paul attended the University of Texas where he attained a BA in Finance from the McCombs School of Business.  While at UT, Paul continued playing soccer through a wide range of avenues; Austin's top men’s league, pickup at Zilker Park, and street soccer in Milan while studying abroad at Bocconi University.

With a highly technical and cerebral soccer background, Paul has been working with players of all ages through competitive coaching, group sessions, camps, and private lessons since he was 15.  Prior to joining St. Stephens in 2020, Paul had been with FC Westlake for 3 years as a senior staff coach and coaching education director.  Before that Paul spent 5 years on staff at Broomfield Soccer Club in the Denver Metro.

Paul currently holds USSF A license and United Soccer Coaches Premier and Advanced National Diplomas.
