From Creation to Curtain: Make a New Play in a Week
June 15-19, 2020
9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
In Creation to Curtain, campers will have the amazing opportunity to create an original piece of theatre. Throughout the process, campers will learn new theatre games, devising exercises, creative writing skills, and playmaking techniques in order to hone their skills in all areas of theatrical production. From brainstorming to playwriting, acting to design, students will explore all aspects of the creative process as they develop this new work. Taught by St. Stephen’s Director of Theatre Focus Lindsay Hearn Brustein, and Cedar Park Middle School Theatre Director Briana Bower, campers are sure to have a blast creating their own, never-seen-before work of theatre. The last day of camp culminates in a world premiere performance for friends and family.
