Semi-Autonomous Spiderbots

More information available December 1, 2019
Registration for 2020 will open February 1st
Age: 12 - 16

You heard of self driving cars, but what about self-crawling spiderbots?!?! These spiders are able to find their way through a maze using motors, ultrasonic sensors and a microcontroller. Along the way you will learn soldering and C++ programming. We end the week with races through a maze with prizes. The first place winner gets to take home a Pachinko machine!!

The best part, and unlike other camps, you get to take your robots home!

This camp is taught by St. Stephen’s electronics and robotics teacher Troy Lanier. You can follow his students’ work at https://www.instagram.com/sstxrobotics/  Here is a video of a spiderbot in action: https://www.instagram.com/p/BiA_82sg0Zw/
