Scholastic Art Award Winners

St. Stephen’s is pleased to announce the winners of the regional Scholastic Art Awards. More than 2,000 students from across Central Texas entered artwork in the juried student art show. St. Stephen’s students’ works were submitted by art teachers Elizabeth Zepeda and Jennie Gray, photography teacher Chris Caselli ’82, film teacher Mike Dolan, English teacher Victoria Woodruff, and painting instructor Chris Thorson. All Gold Key recipients will have their artwork juried at the national level in New York City later this spring.

 

Gold Key award-winning entries will be on display in the Nancy Wilson Scanlan Art Gallery in the Helm Fine Arts Center from January 28 to February 9. An opening reception will be held on Sunday, January 28, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Helm. Please stop by to view these impressive student works!
