Spartan Rowers Place Fourth at Head of the Charles Regatta

The third weekend in October, five Spartans competed at the 53rd Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston. The event included more than 11,000 rowers and 300,000 spectators, making it the largest two-day regatta in the world. St. Stephen's seniors Denise Devlyn and Patrick Atherton and juniors Emily Dryer (coxwain), Elizabeth Rowe and Jackson Young all competed as Spartan members of the Texas Rowing Center.

Special congratulations go to Devlyn and Rowe, who raced in a 4+ and earned a medal for their fourth place finish in a field of 85 boats. Way to go, Spartans!
