Mahria Baker Awarded National Merit Scholarship
Mahria Baker, a member of St. Stephen's Class of 2017, has been recognized as a National Merit Scholarship winner.
The $2,500 Merit Scholar designees were chosen from among more than 15,000 outstanding finalists in the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program. Award winners in each state are judged to have the strongest combination of accomplishments, skills and potential for success in rigorous college studies.
A day student from Austin, Baker received a scholarship from the UPS Foundation. She plans to attend the University of Chicago in the fall. Congratulations, Mahria!
