Twelve Spartans Earn NFHCA High School National Academic Squad Honors

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) recently recognized 12 Spartans for their academic achievements. Daisy Botkin, Meg Canfield, Eliza Cho, Meredith Clay, Kayla Fink, Delaney Halloran, Priya Jhaveri, MK Lutz, Elle Middleton, Bradley Parham, Hannah Simmonds, and Kristin Svahn were named to the 2022 NFHCA High School National Academic Squad. 

These 11th- and 12th-grade varsity student-athletes achieved the equivalent of a cumulative 3.50 out of 4.0 grade-point average through the first term of the 2022-23 school year. 

“I’m so proud of this group of upperclassmen for their leadership in the classroom and on the pitch,” remarked Field Hockey Program Head Chelsea Richards. “They model all of the qualities you hope for in student-athletes at St. Stephen’s. Anyone who traveled with this squad for an away weekend in the fall witnessed first-hand their commitment to academic excellence!”
