EPIC Teammates of the Week: Basil Baldwin and Katie Krauss, 8th Grade

Eighth graders Basil Baldwin and Katie Krauss are this week's Middle School EPIC Teammates of the Week!

 

Krauss was just promoted to the Red Team for her willingness to give 110 percent on the court, whether it is in practice or in games. Coaches Donna Cowling and Ria Gulley appreciate her selflessness on the court. They sometimes need to remind her to score, because she is so good at involving her teammates in every play. "Katie shows respect and integrity through her fair play in the game," said Coach Gulley. “She is a true Spartan!”

 

Baldwin has demonstrated grit, strength and determination on the court. He does all the clean up work on the boards; he leads the team in both offensive and defensive rebounds and never gives up on a play. "This season, Basil has consistently led by working hard, making hustle plays and always putting the team before himself," said Coach Michael Joseph. “Baldwin personifies the EPIC acronym by showing excellence, pride, integrity and commitment to his team!”
