Five Seniors Offered National Merit Scholarships

Earlier this year, seven members of the Class of 2020 advanced from Semifinalist to Finalist standing in the National Merit Scholarship Corp competition: Jorn Dammann, Vivian Fu, Roland Gadbois, Ananya Ganne, Taya Lorenz, Dennis Lu and Sarah Murphy. Since that time, Dammann, Fu, Ganne, Lu and Murphy have been offered National Merit Scholarships sponsored either by colleges or companies. (Not all colleges chosen by our students sponsor National Merit Scholarships.)

“We are extremely proud of these students and applaud their efforts to excel in a wide range of campus activities and programs,” said Head of School Chris Gunnin. “Our Spartans possess a great love of learning, are deeply engaged in our diverse, inclusive campus community, and are supportive friends to their classmates and peers.”
