COVID-19 FAQ

What has the school done to minimize the spread of airborne viruses in indoor spaces on campus?

Updated Sept 30, 2020
The school has made significant facilities improvements to minimize the spread of airborne viruses in indoor spaces on campus.
Since this summer, we have installed REME-HALO LED AIR PURIFICATION SYSTEMS in the following buildings on campus:

GUNN HALL
DINING HALL
LIBRARY
HINES HALL
BOWEN FINE ARTS
BREWSTER HALL
INFIRMARY
MIDDLE SCHOOL GYM
CLAYTON GYM
TOWNER EAST/WEST
GREGG A/B
GREGG C
ALLEN DORM
WYCLIFF DORM
FREEMAN DORM

The week of Sept. 28, our vendor will complete installation of these air filtration systems in the remainder of the buildings on campus, including Marshall Dorm, the Advancement Trailer, Temple, Aragona, the Helm Center, and the Club House at the Tennis Pavilion.

Our faculty and staff will also be taking a number of steps to increase the air ventilation in buildings, which has been found to be an important strategy for reducing the spread COVID-19.
