Great and Humble Hearts

Giving

We Are Grateful for Your Enduring Support.

Significant financial support from trustees, alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty and staff, friends, foundations, and businesses has been essential in making Bishop Hines' vision for St. Stephen's a reality.

Throughout the last 23 years we have thoughtfully added new buildings and landscape design to restore the heart of campus to carry us forward into the 21st century. Click here to view a list of campus additions throughout the last two decades.

Tradition of Philanthropy

A Far-Reaching Mission
When Bishop John Hines founded St. Stephen's Episcopal School in 1950, he envisioned a school with the highest academic standards that would welcome all people from across the socioeconomic spectrum. Hines, who became Presiding Bishop of the U.S. Episcopal Church from 1964 to 1974, dedicated his life to teaching and encouraging people from diverse backgrounds to find equitable, just and peaceful solutions to divisive problems. St. Stephen's embodies Bishop Hines' lifelong goal. The Advancement Office believes Bishop Hines' legacy is as noble and relevant today as it was at the school's founding.
