Dishwasher
St. Stephen's Episcopal School, a day and boarding school of 697 students (grades 6-12), is seeking a Dishwasher for a full-time position beginning immediately in the School’s Dining Hall.
Job Duties
- Sort and stack dirty dishes, pre-rinse and place in dish racks.
- Operate the dish machine.
- Wash all pots & pans in pot sink and/or dish machine.
- Put away all cleaned items in their proper place.
- Clean the floors in the dining hall and serving area at various times by sweeping and mopping.
- Stock all beverage dispensers and fill ice bins.
- Collect all trash from dining hall and kitchen trash receptacles and dispose of it properly in the dumpster.
- Dispose of all cardboard boxes and items in recycling receptacles.
- Put away all delivered goods into the walk-in refrigerator, walk-in freezer, or the dry-storage room.
- Replace linen bags when they are full and put the dirty linens in the linen bin on the loading dock.
- Managers and Supervisors will assign other tasks to be completed throughout your shift.

Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
