Eight Seniors Recognized for Academic Achievement on the PSAT
St. Stephen's is pleased to announce that eight seniors have been named National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP) and National African American Recognition Program (NAARP) award honorees by the College Board National Recognition Program.
This year’s NHRP and NAARP award winners from the Class of 2021 include Veronica Cabeza de Vaca, Gus Cosby, T..J. George, Matt Hutchison, Vincent Moroz, Patricio Solis, Nic Valdes and Isabella Villarreal.
The College Board National Recognition Programs create pathways to college for students from underrepresented communities by awarding them academic honors and connecting them with universities across the country. Students who take the PSAT/NMSQT and are African American, Hispanic American or Latinx, or Indigenous may be invited to apply for academic recognition as part of the College Board’s recognition programs.
“St. Stephen's is committed to enrolling students from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds,” said Head of School Chris Gunnin. “We celebrate these students’ many accomplishments, both in the classroom and beyond. We are proud to have them as members of our diverse and inclusive school community.”
St. Stephen’s congratulates these outstanding students on their numerous achievements.
