I make sure our office runs smoothly, which means I do a little bit of everything - the routine changes from day to day! My main responsibilities are communicating with prospective families about interviews and visits, monitoring the application files, corralling all of the paperwork that comes in, and taking care of the behind-the-scenes details of the office.
St. Stephen's is great because:
It is a wonderfully diverse and vibrant community with a level of commitment from the faculty, staff, students and families that I have not ever seen in a school. Plus, the campus is gorgeous!
Favorite St. Stephen's tradition:
The Deacon - the school yearbook. It is truly a reflection of the year at St. Stephen's. Although they have a faculty advisor, the students who edit and design the book spend countless hours compiling stories and photos that will forever tell the story of that year at St. Stephen's. It is not designed to win awards - instead it is a gift to the rest of the student body of their experience, their memories.
Following favorite TV series, attending comedy festivals and lots and lots of international travel.
If you visited my office, you'd see:
A print of Snoopy in a Superman costume, seasonal decorations, and all of the application files. All of the admission documents are stored in my office and so are the materials for the SSAT testing.
