Every other year, a special group of writers visits our campus to spend the morning in special sessions with our student body. Academic Strategies for International Students
Becker Library kicked off the fall for our International students by offering special programming in collaboration with our International Department. Our "Academic Strategies" session featured special tips for transitioning into St. Stephen's, including:
* Information about academic honesty
* Time management tips
* Suggestions for success in our rigorous academic environment
* Pointers for personal wellness and stress management
On October 10th and 24th, Becker Library will offer research skills workshops to all new International Spartans! "Power Research Skills" will include instruction in database use, proper citation, and web evaluation.
