The Priscilla and Robert Foster Financial Aid Endowment

Liz Foster Luczycki ’72

Throughout her life, Elizabeth “Liz” Foster Lucyzki ’72, who died on Oct. 9, 2024, fondly recalled her childhood on The Hill, where she lived with her parents, Priscilla and Robert “Bob” Foster, and three siblings: Ann Cook ’75, John Foster ’74 and Cate Foster. Leaving their home in Concord, Massachusetts, in the 1950s, Priscilla and Bob were two of St. Stephen’s earliest faculty members and helped shape the school in their roles in Middle School administration and the Business Office, respectively.

After graduating from St. Stephen’s, Liz earned a BA and MA from The University of Texas at Austin and went on to build a successful career in financial services in Dallas. With Liz’s encouragement and financial expertise, Priscilla and Bob established the Priscilla and Robert Foster Financial Aid Endowment to support Middle School students.

Liz furthered her family’s tradition of service and generosity by joining the Spartan Legacy Society and including a gift to the Foster Family Endowment in her estate plans. Her lasting commitment, along with that of her parents, ensures that financial aid will continue to sustain generations of Spartans to come.
