Donor Impact 2024-25

Donor Impact Report

2024-25

Students walking on campus

Welcome Friends of St. Stephen′s,

I am thankful for our vibrant community and the ways that your gifts helped strengthen the experiences of our students, faculty and staff during the 2024-25 academic year. This past year was filled with moments that strengthened bonds, brought great joy and deepened our sense of community. I am profoundly grateful for the generosity of the Spartan family that helped us reach several milestones in Lasting Impact: The Campaign for St. Stephen’s, including the full funding of the St. Stephen’s Aquatic Center and Spartan Loop, as well as a matched challenge gift to our new Science and Technology Center and Annual Fund.

$5 Million Matching Challenge Met

Momentum builds for St. Stephen’s new Science and Technology Center! Spartans matched an anonymous alumni donor’s $5 million leadership gift by the end of 2024, bringing total commitments to this top campaign priority to over $10 million and enabling St. Stephen’s to open the facility for students as soon as 2028. The donor increased their total giving to the project to $7.5 million following the community’s enthusiastic response.

Lasting Impact: The Campaign for St. Stephen’s

On May 9, 2025, the Board of Trustees voted to approve an $85 million, three-year comprehensive campaign, Lasting Impact: The Campaign for St. Stephen’s. Campaign priorities include improved facilities—a new Science and Technology Center, a Student Support Center, and expansion of and renovations to the Chapel, increased endowment funding for programs and people, and a stronger annual fund. In fiscal year 2024-25, donors pledged or gave over $14 million. The campaign publicly launched in September of 2025 in tandem with the school’s 75th anniversary.

Multi-Generational Gift Inspires Spartan Generosity

In February, the Clay family pledged to match every gift to Lasting Impact: The Campaign for St. Stephen’s in 2025, up to $1 million. Thank you for a Strong Annual Fund!

Donors generously supported the Annual Fund, giving $1.92 million in gifts in the 2024-25 academic year. Gifts to the Annual Fund support the day-to-day needs of the school: faculty development and salaries, academic and co-curricular programs, athletics, arts, campus sustainability and financial aid and scholarships. The generosity of trustees, alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff and friends made a powerful impact in advancing the continued excellence of a St. Stephen’s education.
