During the 2026 Block Party, the St. Stephen's community cut the ribbon and celebrated the grand opening of Spartan Loop and the St. Stephen's Aquatic Center. The Spartan Loop campus road improves access to athletic facilities and leads the way to our new state-of-the-art swim center overlooking Lake Austin, which is anchored by an Olympic-sized Myrtha pool. This transformative addition enhances aquatic programming, elevates Spartan athletics, and opens the door to year-round meets, expanded water polo opportunities, and meaningful partnerships with community club programs. Made possible by a remarkable $17 million gift from Jill Wilkinson ’64 and the Still Water Foundation, the aquatic center marks a bold new chapter in the future of Spartan sports.
