Sports Medicine

The St. Stephen’s Sports Medicine Athletic Training facility plays a crucial role in an athlete's performance and recovery. In this space, Middle and Upper School student-athletes enhance recovery, prevent future issues and promote mental well-being to properly care for their overall health and wellness.

Our two full-time athletic trainers (AT) bring 38 years of combined experience to St. Stephen’s. Together, they consult closely with a team of local physicians and physical therapists to provide medical care for our student-athletes.

In alignment with the National Athletic Trainers Association, our athletic trainers provide comprehensive care for musculoskeletal injury prevention, assessment, treatment and post surgical rehabilitation as well as overseeing protocol development and delivery of care for concussions, nutrition, hydration and heat illness.
