Private lessons give students extra opportunities to work closely with an instructor to build skills and confidence. The lessons may be tailored to individual needs, such as college auditions or musical theatre productions.

Private lessons are offered in Music and Dance in the Upper School, and Music, Dance and Art in the Middle School. Students of any skill level — from beginner to advanced — can participate in this one-on-one experience. Students may take more than one lesson each year, and Upper School students may take lessons for academic credit. (Middle School lessons are for enrichment.)

Lessons are offered in Piano, Voice, Guitar, Strings, Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion and Dance. Middle School students may also take lessons in Art. They are scheduled during the academic day, and taught by highly qualified faculty.
