Film Program Objectives
St. Stephen's film students proceed through a sequence of classes that introduce them to industry-standard equipment and techniques needed to produce short films.
While our series of film classes teach our students a vast array of technical skills, our primary objective is for the student to learn and practice working collaboratively with other students to solve problems creatively.
As our students work to produce a number of short films, they also have an excellent opportunity to experience the power of visual storytelling to explore their own lives and topics of interest and concern in the larger world.
