For decades, philanthropic alumni, families and community leaders have made gifts to St. Stephen’s endowment. Endowment gifts support academic excellence, outstanding arts and athletics, financial assistance to qualified students, professional development for faculty and staff, and maintenance of our extraordinary campus in perpetuity. We are grateful to the visionary donors who have established endowments throughout St. Stephen’s history.

St. Stephen’s Alum Creates Surprise Endowment to Honor Past Mentors

Peter Rispoli ’07 has given $50,000 to establish the GROWS Endowment in honor of six faculty and staff members who made a long-lasting impact on his life. “The GROWS endowment was created to honor those special individuals who enriched and positively impacted my and many others’ lives while at St. Stephen’s,” says Rispoli. “While teachers, of course, play a very important role at the school, so do all other staff members from athletic coaches to administrative and support staff.”

Endowment Performace

“Our support for St. Stephen’s comes from the belief that education is extremely important. My great-grandfather provided an inheritance that allowed me to attend St. Stephen’s and college. Gwen and I both want to provide a legacy for others who might not be able to attend St. Stephen’s. That is why we give annually and have provided for St. Stephen’s in our estate planning.”
