Application Steps
Application Form & Checklist

The application is the first step in the process and generates the student file. U.S. residents application fee is $100 and $125 for applicants (or their parents) who reside outside the U.S.
Student Questionnaire

Student applicant shares their personality and passions. It is to be completed by the student without assistance.
Student Essay

200-500 word essay in response to one of three prompts. It is to be completed by the student without assistance.
Recommendations

Three recommendation letters; a current math teacher, English teacher and one personal. You will be asked to submit email addresses for those writing your letters.
Parent Statement

Parents submit candid responses about your child along with a recent photo of your student. While not required, it is extremely helpful during the admission process.
Report Card

Upload copies of the applicant’s final (year-end) report card (official transcript are not required at this time) from last school year and the most recent report card or progress report for the current school year.
Standardized Testing

St. Stephen’s requires applicants to submit standardized testing scores. St. Stephen’s accepts the SSAT and ISEE admission tests. Testing before or on January 20th will ensure that the scores are accepted for the January 20th priority application deadline.
Interview

All applicants are required to interview with an admission officer. The interview is for both the applicant and the parent(s) and takes about 45 minutes (20-25 minutes each).
