Endowment Fund Board

St. Stephen’s Episcopal School Endowment Fund, Inc. (SSESEF) is a nonprofit corporation, 501(c)(3). Its board consists of seven members, four of whom are appointed by the St. Stephen’s Episcopal School Board of Trustees and three members appointed by the Board of SSESEF. The Endowment Fund Board is responsible for the investment and management of the school’s endowment. The board is organized and shall be operated exclusively for the benefit of St. Stephen's Episcopal School. The directors meet quarterly to review the portfolio’s performance and investment policies. 

Rosa Lockett McCormick ’93, P ’28, ’25, President

Rosa Lockett McCormick currently serves on the St. Stephen’s Board of Trustees as Treasurer and chairs the Finance, Audit and Retirement Plan committees. She is a managing partner at Wild Basin Investments. McCormick grew up in Buda, Texas, and attended St. Stephen's as a boarding student. She earned her B.A. in economics and history at The University of Texas at Austin. McCormick has also served on the boards of Live Oak Technologies, Boomerang’s Foods and the Central Texas Angel Network, a nonprofit that provides early-stage capital to entrepreneurs. She and her husband, Brian ’93, are parents to Neva ’25 and Devlin ’28.

Geri Hooks P ’15, ’15, Vice President

Geri Hooks is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Hooks Holdings, Ltd., established in 2001 to invest in early-stage venture capital, real estate, oil, gas and renewable energy. She previously worked as an Investment Executive for UBS/PaineWebber. Geri has been deeply involved in various volunteer roles, including co-founding The Children’s Trust of Central Texas and serving on the boards of multiple organizations like The Contemporary Austin and Dell Children’s Council. She holds a B.A. from Duke University and an M.B.A. from George Washington University. Geri is married to Matt Hooks and they have two children, William and Chloe, who both graduated from St. Stephen's in 2015.

Eric Garcia P ’26 ’28 ’31

Eric is the Founder and Managing Partner of Harvest Growth Capital, a venture capital firm that specializes in making investments in innovative, high-growth technology companies. His distinguished career includes roles at Austin Ventures, Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV), Hostcentric, and Merrill Lynch. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University and is an active member of the Austin community. He and his wife Martha are parents of three current St. Stephen’s Spartans (classes of ’26, ’28, and ’31).

Steve Miura P ’22, ’20

Steve Miura is a financial planner with over 30 years of expertise, helping clients achieve peace of mind through personalized financial planning. He is dedicated to cutting through financial complexities and creating straightforward, understandable plans for his clients.  Miura founded The Miura Group after earning a business degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Miura is also an avid photographer, capturing stunning images of wildlife and landscapes. Steve is passionate about travel, mountain biking and giving back to the community that has supported him for so long. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Ellen, and their three children, including two St. Stephen's graduates, McDade '22 and Camille '20. 

Lindsey Stuart ’98

Lindsey is a Registered Investment Advisor with Stuart Investment Advisors, where she brings 20 years of leadership in education and public service. She focuses on aligning client wealth with purpose, empowering women in financial leadership, and supporting families through legacy planning. Previously, Stuart was a leader at Austin ISD, where her strategy and fundraising efforts brought over $140 million into local schools. She holds three degrees: B.A. in Spanish and Women’s Studies from Wellesley College, M.A. in Teaching from American University, and MPAff from The LBJ School of Public Affairs at UT Austin. She currently serves as PTA President for Ridgetop Elementary and previously served as Board President for BookSpring. She and her husband, Nathan are the parents of a daughter.

Susan Wittliff P ’25, ’21

Susan Wittliff has an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of people and the community she lives in. Professionally, Wittliff serves as an investor and advisor for individuals and families with complex financial needs. She is also an experienced governance specialist for public and private companies and nonprofit organizations. Wittliff serves on a number of boards, including the St. David’s Foundation, Austin PBS and the Wittliff Collections. She is also a passionate advocate of creating opportunities for women and girls in her professional and volunteer work through a variety of  organizations. Wittliff and her husband, Reid, are parents of two St. Stephen’s students, Sloan ’21 and Leigh ’25.

Alan Wright ’93

Alan Wright ’93 attended SSES as a boarding student. Wright’s father (Arthur Wright ’64) and sister (Eileen Wright ’96) also attended as boarding students. After graduation, Wright attended Bates College, graduating in 1997 with a B.A. in History. Wright received a Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law in 2000. Wright has practiced as a corporate and securities attorney in Texas for 25 years, and primarily represents private equity and family office clients.
