Spartan Rowers win Gold and Bronze at State

Congratulations to Varsity Spartan rowers, Phoebe Ayres, for winning First Place in the 2x at the Texas State Championships (the state-level competition of rowing), and to Denise Devlyn for winning Third Place in the LTWT 2x. This is Phoebe's second year in a row to win the State title as the fastest Double in Texas! Unfortunately, due to rain, many events were canceled so fewer state-level titles could be awarded.

Other Spartan rowers include Varsity: Vanessa Schuewah, Madison Barchas, and Novice: Patrick Atherton, Riley Bray, Audrey Czuchna, Emily Dreyer, Elizabeth Rowe, Lavanya Sankaran, Alex Valdes, and Gabri Walker. The next stop for these rowers is the US Rowing Regional Championships in Oklahoma City in May.
