Middle Schoolers Volunteer at Community First Garden
Twenty-five middle school students, families, and faculty converged at Community First on Saturday April 18th and got their hands dirty harvesting, planting, and digging rows for Genesis Gardens.
Community First is a 27 acre community designed to provide affordable housing and supportive services for the chronically homeless.
Working alongside future residents of this first of its kind ministry to the chronically homeless, we enjoyed fellowship, learning about the vision of this village, and hard work.
