Excellence extends beyond the playing fields

Although Soccer Academy players log a considerable amount of field-time, there are also many other locations on campus that Academy players frequent. Since academics are taken as seriously as athletics at St. Stephen's, Academy members can be found in the classrooms, labs, and studios of campus at all times of the day.

Becker Library-
In addition to 17,000 print titles, the Becker Library offers two computer clusters as well as wireless workspace. The staff works closely with the school's faculty to ensure that students have all the resources necessary for their research. In addition, the library's hours of operation extends well into the night to accommodate the needs of the residential students.

Helm Fine Arts Center-
This building hosts a vast range of arts instruction and performance. From plays and musicals in the Temple Family Theatre to exhibits in the Scanlan Gallery, there is always something fascinating on campus to experience from the world of the arts. In addition, multiple sound-proof practice rooms, a dark room, pottery and drawing/painting labs are available to students.

Technology Areas-
The school maintains well over one hundred computers on campus in various labs and classrooms. St. Stephen's also maintains an academic wireless network as well as a separate network for the exclusive use of the residential community.

Observatory-
St. Stephen's features the largest refracting telescope in Central Texas, and a second observatory is in the process of coming online. The school utilitizes this special resource for its Astrophysics class as well as enrichment opportunities for the student body and the general Austin community.

Residential Halls-
The school's residential community supports approximately 160 students from around both the country and the world. The residence halls are centrally located such that Soccer Academy players can walk to the courts in the same amount of time it takes to walk to class.
