Last weekend the girls from Freeman Dorm approached Ms. Hok about wanting to do community service. They piled in the school suburban and spent the day creating children's crafts and "green" mural-making at the Sustainable Shopper's Ball, an all-volunteer-run event.

In the craft tent at the event, the students helped kids stay warm and look festive by making hats from newspapers. Student Spartans also made decorations from ball moss and crafted origami with kids using recycled office paper.
